Animal Shows

Find out about our fantastic facilities for animal shows.

Three Counties Showground boasts an abundance of versatile spaces perfectly suited to host an array of animal shows, including livestock, canine and equine. Our Kildare, Avon, Wye and Severn Halls, alongside our abundant outdoor space, offers the perfect choice no matter what your show requirement, with an extensive list of facilities and resources available to accommodate any scale of animal show.

An ideal year-round choice, our Kildare, Avon, Wye and Severn Halls are perfect for indoor canine shows, offering a warm, weather-proof and amenable space that can be carpeted with your preference of colour. We’re also proud to be home to the largest equine area of its kind in the region and offer a number of smaller venues on-site which can be used as organiser’s offices, vet stations or small meeting rooms, ensuring you have all the space you need to make your animal show run with ease.

Wye Hall

Found in the south-westerly area of the Showground is Wye Hall, the largest of our exhibition halls and home to multiple animal events throughout the calendar year, including the West of England Ladies Kennel Society and the National Working and Pastoral Breeds Show; an event we’ve been proud to host for over 50 years.

Ideally situated next to the all-weather Brown Car Park which holds over 600 visitor vehicles for easy visitor access, the hall is separated into four bays of varying levels, making it perfect for separating traders from livestock. Separate smaller venues are also available for use alongside the Wye Hall, great for use as organiser’s offices, vet stations and small meeting rooms.

Severn Hall

A bright, modern indoor exhibition space found in the heart of the showground in Three Counties Centre, Severn Hall offers fantastic indoor animal show opportunities.

A real blank canvas for you to use however you wish, Severn Hall proves particularly popular with canine shows and horse sale exhibits throughout the year, with both the Irish Setter Club and Brightwells Horse Sales hosting events with us. Severn Hall also benefits from an on-site café, kitchen, plentiful WCs and adjacent conference suites (Linden and Leadon), offering a one-stop shop for all of your event needs.

As with our other key exhibition centre spaces, our talented venue hire team will work closely with you to ensure the space works to meet all of your animal show needs, with additional venues available for use as meeting rooms and the like.

Avon Hall

Another great space for animal shows of all shapes and sizes is the Avon Hall, found adjacent to Kildare Hall across a large tarmac area and easily linked to Kildare Hall via a marquee to create an extensive, versatile space for large-scale events.

Usable year-round thanks to indoor heating, the Hall regularly hosts animals of all varieties from alpacas to livestock, with the National Sheep Association calling the Avon Hall home for its popular bi-annual event. As with Kildare Hall and Wye Hall, separate venues are available for hire alongside Avon Hall for use as organiser’s offices, vet stations and meeting rooms, ensuring you have plenty of space to oversee the smooth running of your animal event.

Kildare Hall

Kildare Hall (1888m2) is a modern, bright, and spacious exhibition hall that is situated between Avon Hall and Wye Hall. Kildare Hall has the added benefit of being connected to Wye Hall by an all-weather walkway.
The hall is suitable for animal shows, vehicle events, fairs, trade shows, celebrations, or teambuilding.

There is a dedicated hard standing area next to the hall that can be used for anything between car parking and catering.
