Three Counties Careers Fair 2026 Inspires Over 1,400 Young People Towards Future Career Paths

The Three Counties Agricultural Society is celebrating the success of the Three Counties Careers Fair 2026, which took place on 22 January 2026, welcoming approximately 1,400 young visitors across the day. The event, sponsored by the University of Worcester, brought together a vibrant mix of over 50 exhibitors, businesses, training providers and education specialists, all dedicated to helping young people discover and explore their future career options within engineering and manufacturing, cyber security, construction, food productions, the arts, financial services, horticulture and land-based industries.

Hosted at the Three Counties Showground, the Careers Fair continues to grow in scale and impact, offering students invaluable face‑to‑face interactions with industry professionals. Exhibitors showcased a wide variety of sectors from soft fruit growers, agriculturalists  and machinery dealers to colleges and universities and \ apprenticeships   creating an inspiring and informative experience for attendees.

This year’s event also featured dedicated workshops about University Life and exploring your post 18 options hosted by Worcester University . Lorna Robinson from Visit Worcestershire also gave an engaging talk on careers in Travel and Tourism.

Tourism is not just a first job or a stepping stone, it offers long-term, skilled and rewarding career pathways across leadership, marketing, heritage, events and so much more. It was fabulous to see young people genuinely engaged and get excited about that”.

The event provided hands‑on experiences, practical demonstrations, and opportunities for young people to ask questions and gain practical insight into different roles. Exhibitors reported high engagement, with many praising the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Plans are already underway for next year’s Three Counties Careers Fair, confirmed for Thursday 21 January 2027. Exhibitors and attendees are encouraged to share suggestions and feedback to help grow and enhance the event even further.
